Q: I have Coeliac Disease and Gluten sensitivity. Is there a supplement that will enable me to dine out safely?
Dr. Henry Cheng: When you dine out you can order gluten free dishes but sometimes the sauces or spices they use may still contain ingredients that you are allergic to. Take 2 capsules of Gluten Defense (Enzymatic Therapy) just before the meal. This supplement contains a specific enzyme called DPP IV for digesting gluten and casein. It also contains amylase, lipase, phytase, lactase, cellulose, and sucrase. Gluten Defense can be taken with every meal but it is most helpful when you eat foods that are doubtful as when you try new recipes, when you eat at a friend’s place or in a restaurant. The disease is not going to go away, but you will have a freer lifestyle with Gluten Defense.
